Requirements
Setting up an industrial photovoltaic plant based on the Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) model to power production activities and feed part of the energy produced into the grid.
Intervention
We developed an 8.7 MWp photovoltaic system in Ortona, Abruzzo, for a major international industrial group operating in the adult social care sector. This new infrastructure ensures the production, purchase and on-site consumption of around 11,600 MWh of electricity per year, equal to the average consumption of more than 3,500 domestic clients. Part of the installation involved the photovoltaic roofing of a large car park, a strategic approach to maximise the system’s overall potential
